Howard Dicus is a 34-year broadcast news veteran who worked in Washington, D.C., for AP, UPI and Mutual before moving to Hawaii at the end of 2000 to cure his wife's homesickness. He is the Web and Broadcast Editor of Pacific Business News, seen on Channel 2 and heard on Hawaii Public Radio. And since everyone in Hawaii has to work two jobs, he kept his last mainland job as technology reporter for WTOP Newsradio in Washington, D.C., but files digital audio from the spare bedroom of his Waikiki high-rise condo.
