SPEAKERS

Jody Hoff
District Manager of Economic Education and Public Programs
Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco

Jody Hoff is the District Manager of Economic Education and Public Programs for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Prior to her work with the FRBSF, Jody served as the President of the Idaho Council on Economic Education and also the Executive Administrator for the International Economic Summit, (IES) an international trade simulation for high school students. She is the author of the classroom materials for the IES program and was invited to Russia to initiate the program for teachers and students in Moscow and St. Petersburg. She is a former member of the Executive Committee of the National Association of Economic Educators and the state of Idaho Taskforce on International Education. In addition, Jody has traveled to China, Greece, and South Korea as an educational outreach delegate and presenter. She has published classroom materials for PBS, EconEd Link, and the National Council on Economic Education and serves as a Mentor Teacher for the Foundation for Teaching Economics. Jody holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and is currently a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction. She has held teaching certificates in Economics, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Prior to her work with the Idaho Council, Jody taught secondary math and economics in Idaho public schools and has been awarded teaching honors from the University of Idaho, the Idaho Council on Economic Education, the National Teacher Training Institute, and National Association of Economic Educators.
